Mentors

The BIAE has set up a system of mentors throughout the country to offer support and advice to members. This has proved to be very popular with members whom are able to stay in touch with their groups by attending social gatherings or by keeping in touch by telephone.

As many of us work alone there is sometimes a need to discuss a problem with another professional who you can trust to be discreet and knowledgeable, and the Mentor system uses the vast pool of experience that is available from our membership to help solve problems and to ensure that members are keept up to date and have the support of other professionals in their area.

We have members all over the world and have a Mentor group set up via email (and surface mail for those with no e mail) so that our overseas members can benefit from the system, especially as sometimes there may be only one BIAE member in the country and it can be rather lonely.
